After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Education at Fordham University and a Master's at Brooklyn CUNY, Emanuel began his career as a teacher and went on to serve as a Professor in Special Education for the City of New York. After 11 years of service as an educator, Emanuel decided to pursue a career in the financial services industry which was a life-long dream of his.
He began as an account executive at EF Hutton in 1978, and went on to work for eighteen years as a Senior Account Executive at L.F. Rothchild/Oppenheimer. Emanuel formed The Reiser Group in 1999. Since 2003, he has been recognized as a Premier Advisor, a title accorded to a select group of Financial Advisors with the firm. In 2007, Manny achieved a position amongst the top 100 Wachovia Securities Financial Advisors based on his production.
Emanuel is active in a number of charities, most notably involving cancer research and health care for the elderly. Furthermore, he has voluntarily taught elementary and middle school students about the stock market.
He is also recognized as a Certified Financial Advisor.
